  1. First of all please excuse me for not writing the comment in Sinhala. It is embarrassed to say that I m not comfortable with Sinhala keypad.
So let me express my ideas in English.

Yeah, very true. I too agree with what you have written. Actually most of you all will agree with me if I say that music is a universal language. As Achira said the songs mentioned in the above link are more than enough to prove it. Even if we cannot understand the meaning or sometimes we might not be able to understand a single word of the song, but still we can feel the meaning of the song. Language is not a barrier for a person to enjoy the music.
Why music play such an immense role in our lives? As to what I believe it is an art which can reach the deepest parts of our heart and soul. Also it is a language that anyone can express their emotional feelings. But I personally believe that it gives a deep emotional feeling when you express something through music than expressing it orally. I too have come across with such situations.
Let me add something more to this..
Don’t know from where I have read this but somewhere I came a cross a saying that music is a good doctor. Actually I too agree with this. As long as any music or actually the melody of a song – no matter what the words are - makes you feel yourself, it is the best doctor you can find. It really relaxes your mind, body and soul irrespective of the language – you see...
Truly believe me! I find music as a universal language because of its ability to express people’s emotional feelings and its ability to touch my soul irrespective of the language of the song.
